Me Talk Pretty One Day

My book collection would be far less entertaining without my go-to funny man, David Sedaris. It all started when my flight got delayed and I was left with nothing to do but spend money at the always busy, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport. I picked up the only book whose name seemed remotely interesting, entitled "Me Talk Pretty One Day." Probably the best buy I have ever made at the airport. His "memoirs" kept me entertained for hours, and I found myself trying to hold in my laughter the entire way through. He manages to describe people in a way that is so real and so raw, that you can't help but to laugh aloud at how truthful his anecdotes are. Since then, I have picked up the rest of his books including Naked, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, When You are Engulfed in Flames, and Holidays on Ice.
